Sedgwick Jail House Museum (Closed)

The building that houses the Jailhouse Museum was built in 1930 and served as the jail and town hall from 1931 until 1997. Currently, the building is under renovation and isn't ready for visitors yet. We'll keep you posted as to when the Museum will be opening, so stay tuned.

Hunting & Fishing in Sedgwick County
Sedgwick Bar State Wildlife Area
From Sedgwick go 2 miles northeast on Highway 138 to access road; then 1/2 mile south.

Choose to hike and observe the wildlife, or hunt deer, rabbit, squrrel, pheasant, bobwhite quarl, doves, waterfowl and turkey, which are in abundant supply.

The reservior is stocked with bass, black bass, bluefill, carp, catfish, perch, rainbow trout to name a few.

The spacious campgrounds around Jumbo Reservoir offer shaded picnic areas, restroom facilities and cool, clean drinking water.
